Group wellness classes
Tired of the same treadmill or workout routine? Spice it up and try a Group Fitness class! Every class is lead by a certified instructor and is a fun way to cross-train. All classes are for all fitness levels - adjustments are available for beginners and advanced participants alike. No need to sign up in advance; all classes are free for Y members and last approximately one hour unless otherwise noted.
We offer a variety of group wellness classes: TRX, Piloxing, Indoor cycling, active older adults, strength training, yoga and more!

EnhanceFitness is a proven senior fitness and arthritis management program that improves your endurance, strength, balance, and flexibility. It reduces your arthritis symptoms with safe, low impact exercises led by certified instructors in a relaxed atmosphere that promotes fun, laughter, friendship and smiles. EnhanceFitness has been recognized by the CDC and other national organizations committed to improving the health of older adults.
Body Tone Up
High and low impact aerobics using a variety of fitness equipment will improve cardiovascular health, burn calories, increase energy, and tone muscles. Routines choreographed to popular music also provide a mental challenge in a fun, friendly environment. Can be modified for most fitness levels.
In this exciting class featuring the LeMond Revmaster Pro bike, expect to get an enjoyable, yet challenging workout. Experience a set of techniques that will inspire you and test your skills. Work at your own pace, and pedal your way to a healthier you!
Strength Train Together
Strength Train Together will blast all your muscles with a high-rep weight training workout. Using a barbell, weight plates, and body weight. Strength Train Together combines squats, lunges, presses, and curls with functional integrated exercises. Dynamic music and a motivating group atmosphere will get your heart rate up, make you sweat, and push you to a personal best!
PILOXING cardio fusion incorporates cutting edge research and fitness techniques to burn maximum calories, build lean muscles, and increase stamina. The program uniquely blends power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of pilates. These techniques are also supplemented by the use of weighted gloves, further toning the arms and maximizing cardiovascular health. Add to that exhilarating dance moves and you have a muscle-toning, fat-burning workout that will make you feel physically and mentally empowered!
Progressive program in which each student works at his or her own pace. Yoga lowers fat, improves circulation, strength and flexibility, and the immune systems while relieving anxiety, back pain and arthritis.
Latin Pop Aerobics
High energy aerobics to exotic rhythms of Latin and Pop music. Before participants know it, they are getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! It is easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among students.
Latin Pop Aerobics Gold
High energy aerobics geared towards seniors using rhythms of Latin and Pop music. Before participants know it, they are getting fit and their energy levels are soaring!
Silver Sneakers - Muscular Strength/Range of Motion
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase Muscular Strength, Range of Motion, and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneaker ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Silver Sneakers - Cardio Circuit
Increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneaker ball is alternated with non-impact aerobics. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.
Lagrange Site group wellness classes:
AOA (Active Older adults)
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase Muscular Strength, Range of Motion, and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a resistance ball are offered for muscle strengthening. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
In this exciting class featuring the Scwhinn AC Pro bike, expect to get an enjoyable, yet challenging workout. Experience a set of techniques that will inspire you and test your skills. Work at your own pace, and pedal your way to a healthier you!
A total body strength training class that will firm your up from top to bottom. Good for all fitness levels.
Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the total body. The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up.

We combine the awesome toning and strengthening power of Step aerobics, with the fun fitness-party that only Zumba® brings to the dance-floor. Zumba® Step increase cardio and calorie burning, while adding moves that define and sculpt your core and legs.
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done while sitting. All the benefits of yoga modified to be seated in a chair, or using a chair for support and balance.
